Cowboy boots

Cowboy boots are the epitome of Western culture; they practically symbolizing ruggedness and hard work. Cowboy footwear is made from leather and known for its long life¬–able to withstand years of trudging through mud, rock or anything that the prairie can throw at it.

Cowboy boots are made of leather from many types of animals, including:

Leather is the most durable material, but some people don’t believe in using animals as fashion. There are plenty of companies that specialize in “vegetarian shoes” that make pleather (plastic that looks like leather) footwear.
